Are people with black hair considered brunettes?

And has anyone ever noticed that when you tell someone they have black hair, they get all defensive and are like, "What! No! It's brown! Dark brown!"

Are people with black hair considered brunettes?

I wouldnt consider black hair being brunette. To me black hair is black hair, and brown hair is brunette. People can have black hair but sometimes someone's hair looks black but if you really looked closely it is a dark brown. I dont know why people would get defensive though... theres nothing wrong with black hair.

I used to do that!

But, I mean, you have to base it off of how it looks, not what it is if you get down to the hardcore details.

So, black-haired people are considered raven-haired. They are a species of women of their own.

Are people with black hair considered brunettes?

Yes. Just a few categories for everyone. Brunette, Blonde, or Redhead.

Are people with black hair considered brunettes?

yes i have noticed that, but now I'm a little confused. Do you mean people who's hair is black or did you mean black people's hair. cause I know I have never considered myself a brunette although my hair is brown, and yes it truly is :). I am however a black girl. so what does that make me? Raven haired like the answer mentioned before me or a brunette? good question!
